Perminder is a Partner at Lindsay Kenney LLP and co-leads the firm’s Estate Planning and Litigation Group. He brings deep experience and a balanced, client-focused approach to estate litigation, personal injury, civil sexual assault claims, general litigation, employment law, mediation, and alternative dispute resolution.
In his estate litigation practice, Perminder represents beneficiaries who have been disinherited or treated unfairly in the distribution of a family estate. He works to resolve these matters efficiently and with sensitivity, helping families avoid unnecessary conflict whenever possible. When court intervention is required, he is a skilled litigator prepared to advance his clients’ interests in court. A passionate advocate for public legal education, Perminder regularly contributes through community presentations and online content.
Perminder also represents victims of workplace sexual harassment and survivors of sexual assault. He is known for his integrity, compassion, and commitment to improving access to justice. With extensive training in trauma-informed practices, he provides clear, steady guidance through the legal process and works to minimize the potential for re-traumatization.
A Chartered Mediator (C. Med.) with the Alternative Dispute Resolution Institute of Canada, Perminder has successfully mediated hundreds of claims across a range of legal areas, including estate litigation, personal injury, insurance disputes, commercial and construction conflicts, shareholder issues, and wrongful dismissal. He is a member of the ADRBC Mediation Roster Program and the Civil Roster of Mediate BC and was appointed to the Board of Directors of ADRBC in 2020.
Born and raised in the Fraser Valley, Perminder remains deeply connected to his community and serves on several community boards and associations.
