Fanda Wu is a partner and co-chair of our family law practice group. She is an experienced trial lawyer with a strong focus on representing high-net-worth individuals in complex divorce cases. Whether navigating the division of complex business interests, real estate holdings, investment portfolios, or intellectual property, Fanda offers tailored solutions that protect both the clients’ personal and financial interests. Her expertise extends to resolving issues of property and debt division, child and spousal support, and parenting issues including guardianship, parental responsibilities, and parenting time. Fanda also assists with cohabitation and marriage agreements.

Fanda understands the sensitive nature of difficult family law matters and she is dedicated to maintaining the utmost discretion and confidentiality for her clientele. Her practice focuses on providing a top tier level of service and combining her extensive knowledge of family law with a strong understanding of financial and business analysis to expertly address challenges that arise in family law matters. She has represented executives, entrepreneurs, professionals, and business owners who are dealing with valuation issues, overseas assets, corporate income, trusts, and other complicated business interests. 

Fanda has appeared on behalf of clients in all levels of court in British Columbia and in the Alberta Court of Queen’s Bench. She is skilled at negotiating settlements and resolving issues both outside of court, including in mediation and arbitration settings, and in court. Fanda works with clients to protect the interests and the best interests of their children, ensuring that clients can move forward with peace of mind, financial security, and clarity.

Prior to joining Lindsay Kenney, Fanda practiced family law at a boutique law firm in downtown Vancouver. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Juris Doctor from the University of British Columbia.
