Dmitrii is a lawyer and mediator in Lindsay Kenney LLP’s Family Law Group, based in the firm’s Langley office. He focuses on helping clients resolve family law matters efficiently and with as little conflict as possible. A strong advocate for alternative dispute resolution, Dmitrii believes that clients are best served through negotiation and mediation whenever possible. When litigation is required, he is a skilled and effective courtroom advocate.
Born and raised in Kyiv, Ukraine, Dmitrii immigrated to Canada in 2007. After completing a degree in Business Administration in New Brunswick, he earned his law degree from the University of British Columbia and was called to the Bar of British Columbia in 2014. He has practised in boutique firms across the Lower Mainland, gaining broad experience in civil litigation, construction law, insurance law, personal injury, and criminal law.
Dmitrii’s diverse personal and professional background provides him with a valuable perspective on the legal, practical, and cultural issues that can arise in family law matters. He has particular strength in navigating complex financial structures to achieve favourable property division outcomes and is adept at managing high-conflict parenting disputes, helping clients pursue clarity and stability for their families.
