Haoyu Nie

Haoyu is part of Lindsay Kenney LLP’s General Litigation Group, based in the firm’s Vancouver office. She is developing a broad litigation practice focused on commercial litigation and insolvency and has appeared before all levels of court in British Columbia. Known for her thorough preparation and clear communication, Haoyu is committed to helping clients resolve disputes efficiently and effectively.

Before joining Lindsay Kenney, Haoyu articled and practised as an associate with a boutique commercial litigation firm in Vancouver. She earned her law degree from the University of Victoria, where she gained early advocacy experience representing clients before the Provincial Court and the Civil Resolution Tribunal of British Columbia through The Law Centre. During law school, she also completed co-op placements with a friendship society in Kelowna and a boutique litigation firm in Vancouver.

Prior to her Canadian legal training, Haoyu earned a law degree in China and worked with two national law firms, gaining valuable experience in business law. She brings a global perspective, strong advocacy skills, and a client-focused approach to every file.
