In his role with Lindsay Kenney LLP’s General Litigation Group, Simon draws on more than a decade of experience handling complex civil litigation matters across both Canadian and U.S. legal systems. Based in the firm’s Vancouver office, he provides clients with strategic insight and practical advocacy in a wide range of disputes.
Before joining Lindsay Kenney, Simon practised at a boutique litigation firm in Massachusetts, representing clients in whistleblower law, medical malpractice, customs fraud, and healthcare fraud. He played a key role in achieving more than $950 million in settlements for clients, including a $250 million federal whistleblower award in U.S. ex rel. Bawduniak v. Biogen Idec, Inc., the largest whistleblower award ever conferred by the United States government. From 2017 through 2022, Simon was named to the Super Lawyers “Rising Stars” list in recognition of his accomplishments.
Simon’s prior experience also includes work with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts, the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office, and the Honorable Bruce Selya of the First Circuit Court of Appeals. He earned his law degree from Northeastern University School of Law and holds a Master’s degree in International Development from Brandeis University.

Beyond the Office
When not at the office, Simon enjoys travelling, including exploring British Columbia. An avid fan of both basketball and golf, he enjoys both watching and playing these sports. He also enjoys baking and playing chess.
