Reilly brings a practical, strategic approach to resolving complex disputes for his clients. A Partner at Lindsay Kenney LLP, working primarily from the firm’s Vancouver office, he maintains a broad civil litigation practice and advises clients in matters involving a wide range of factual and legal issues.
Reilly regularly handles commercial disputes involving contracts, property transactions, commercial leases, investments in private companies, partnerships, and joint ventures. He also acts on fraud claims, including those related to fraudulent cryptocurrency exchanges. In recent years, he has developed significant experience pursuing professional negligence cases on behalf of clients seeking to recover losses arising from the errors and omissions of professional advisors.
In addition to his general litigation practice, Reilly has extensive experience in bankruptcy and insolvency law. He assists companies and individuals with asset recovery, enforcement of security, and debt relief, acting for both lenders and borrowers, including in foreclosure matters.
Known for his clear, pragmatic guidance, Reilly helps clients evaluate the costs and benefits of litigation versus alternative dispute resolution. He is an experienced negotiator who represents clients in mediation and arbitration and regularly appears before the Supreme Court of British Columbia.
